Trauma Therapist (Sexual Violence Specific)

The Tri County Women’s Centre is a community based, feminist agency that provides supportive services, advocacy, and programs to women and adolescent girls.
The trauma-specific therapist provides trauma-specific therapy to those who have endured sexualized violence, coordinates the Trauma-Specific Therapy Program, and represents the program on behalf of the Tri County Women’s Centre (TCWC)
The successful candidate will have:
Additional responsibilities will include providing support to the TCWC staff with activities and events as a part of the women’s centre team.
Working primarily out of the Yarmouth office, with travel to Digby & Shelburne to provide services out of the outreach sites. Mileage will be compensated.
This is a full time, position funded by the Province of Nova Scotia on a a service agreement basis.
*The successful candidate will require a criminal record check and child abuse registry check.
