SHYFT - Supportive Housing Youth Focus Team
SHYFT Youth Services - Located at 6 Trinity Place, Yarmouth, SHYFT Youth Services offers a safe and supportive housing option for homeless and at risk youth between the ages of 16-21.
SHYFT Housing Services offers the following services:
· Structured and flexible home environment
· Shared meal preparation and chores
· 24 hour staff support
· Curfews and other guidelines to support safe lifestyles
· Staff will work with youth to develop goals
Youth can self refer or community/government organizations can refer youth by calling or dropping by.

You Can Make a Financial Donation

SHYFT Youth Services Society is the body that oversees the day to day operations of the service. The Tri-County Women’s Centre (TCWC) is the proponent of the project and administers the funding. Please issues cheques to the Tri-County Women’s Centre. A charitable tax receipt will be made out for any donation of $20.00 or more.
You Can Make An In-Kind Donation

SHYFT accepts non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, tampons, pads), socks, slippers, blankets, books, gently used youth appropriate clothing and DVDs.
